#185: Calm Before the 'Bowl
---SSL Broadcast #26---That's right. Half a year of doing this in consecutive weeks. I can tell you that having the hometown football team in the postsesaon making a Super Bowl run helps immensely.
- Steelers Rev'n for Seven after win over Jets.
- Green Bay stands in their way.
- Dutch Wydo joins in studio with some preliminary analysis.
- NFL Picks. I went 1-1 (Bears and Steelers) in the previous round. That makes my record on the year 22-22 on the year overall. That's not great. But that means the entire season being a winning or losing on hinges on my Super Bowl pick (vs. spread). Yeah, that comes next week.

#184: Conference Championship Weekend
---SSL Broadcast #26---That's right. Half a year of doing this in consecutive weeks. I can tell you that having the hometown football team in the postsesaon making a Super Bowl run helps immensely.
- Steelers v Jets. Part 2.
- Dutch Wydo joins in to handicap both conference tilts.
- Some love for Mike Tomlin as a coach.
- Quick hits with the Penguins and Pitt athletics.
- NFL Conference Picks. Producer Jerome Shell III joins in after going 2-2 vs. the spread in the Divisional round. I went 3-1 vs the spread. The way this season's gone, I'll go 1-1 this week, and the entire season will come down to the Super Bowl. No pressure...

#183: Divisional Round 2011
---SSL Broadcast #25---Perhaps the fastest-moving episode of the lot. And how could it not be? The NFL Playoffs are starting reach a fever pitch.
- Steelers v Ravens. Part 3. Again.
- Dutch Wydo joins in for a segment breaking down the clash of the titans.
- Quick hits with the Penguins and Pitt athletics.
- NFL Divisional Picks. Producer Jerome Shell III joins in after going 2-2 vs. the spread in the Wild Card round. I went 1-3. Can't catch a break. I hope I go 0-4 this week, truthfully, because that means teams I want to win will.

#182: Wild Card Weekend 2011
---SSL Broadcast #24---I can't believe it's been almost six months since I took over the 9AM slot. I don't think anyone else has noticed, either.
- Steelers gamble to start Troy Polamalu & keep Big Ben in the game long after it was decided pays off.
- Random snippits from the rest of Pittsburgh sports, including a quick wrapup of the NHL Winter Classic.
- A quick NFL Wild Card preview, along with...
- NFL Wild Card Picks. Producer Jerome Shell III joins in with his opinions as I try to rise above the mean. In the regular season, I went 8-9 in the Steeler slot (again, the 17th game being the Baltimore-over-Denver pick I made during Pittsburgh's bye week). This latest loss was counting on Cleveland to make things interesting. Thankfully, despite my pick, they did not. My other Play of the Week went 9-8 after Houston did more than cover 2.5 against Jacksonville. 17-17 on the season. Here's guessing that I go 2-2 this week in my picks (this prediction will not count toward the final tally).

#181: Happy 2011!
---Starting Off Strong---The first "Steeltown Sports: Live" of 2011 features:
- Steelers should dress Troy Polamalu, but not play him unless the game in Cleveland is in jeopardy: the bye week is that important.
- NFL picks three Steelers for the ProBowl and tries to list the top 10 Steelers of all time.
- NHL Winter Classic talk (though not much).
- NFL Picks of the Week. The Steeler picks are 8-8 entering after they failed to cover (and failed to win) vs. the Jets and succeeded in crushing the Panthers by more than 15. As far as the Steelers themselves are concerned, I'm 7-8, the extra game, of course, being the Baltimore-over-Denver pick during Pittsburgh's bye week. My Play of the Week outside of Pittsburgh is also at 8-8 following a miss with the Cowboys failing to cover 7.5 against Rex Grossman-led Washington and a hit with the Saints winning outright in Atlanta.
